AAA today unveiled a new “Best Of” designation for its Diamond-Rated hotels and restaurants.
The “Best Of” designation highlights hotels and restaurants at the One, Two and Three Diamond levels. Establishments at these levels are most frequently visited by travelers who book a vacation with AAA, accounting for 90 percent of hotels and 97 percent of restaurants inspected by AAA every year.
In North Dakota the establishments currently receiving the "best of" designation are: Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Grand Forks; AmericInn Hotel & Suite, Fargo South; The Chuckwagon, Medora; AmericInn Lodge & Suites, Valley City; and Lucky Duck's Deli & Catering, Peacock Alley American Grill & Bar, and The Toasted Frog, all in Bismarck.
Currently only 7 percent of the 59,000 AAA Diamond-Rated hotels and restaurants have earned the “Best Of” distinction. These establishments received overall ratings in the top 20 percentile for their Diamond Rating level, no member complaints in the past 12 months, and for hotels only, are A-Rated for cleanliness and condition.
“Whether you are traveling close to home or somewhere new, finding a good hotel or restaurant is not always easy,” said Vicky Evans, Assistant Vice President, Travel Sales Development, AAA - The Auto Club Group. “The addition of the ‘Best Of’ series will help both AAA members and non-members easily find a top-rated establishment, with more casual and affordable options that comfortably fit their needs.”
